What?? Why didn't Archie talk about the highs and lows of Highschool football?? Why didn't Jughead join the serpents and be dark and edgy because sardonic humor is he way of relating to the world??? Where are Veronica's snippy one liners that make me cringe and repeatedly bang my head into a wall? Where the fuck was Betty and her stupid girl next door vibe?? Where was Cheryl she's hot :/ ????

I'll probably be an old woman one day, looking back at my life and I want my last words to be these: 'I have no regrets, except wasting an hour and a half on that stupid fucking made for TV Archie movie where they're all depressed and Archie's a dick'
Also, I'd like to say for the record, watching this was Not My Choice.

A 1990 TV movie that originally aired on NBC. I have recently binge watched the first two seasons of Riverdale and then Ian West saw this and I had to see it. The entire time I was watching this I was treating it like Riverdale: The Next Generation. Sort of like Degrassi:TNG when Spike's kid was going to Degrassi. The big let down is there is a lot less murder, except Archie almost kills Jughead's kid when he pushes a ladder the kid is on away from his window. Oh yeah, Veronica was in her safe for TV black nightie from Fredricks of Hollywood. Another thing I have noticed from watching Riverdale and then this movie, the answer to that age old question of Betty or Veronica, for me at least is Betty. This movie is kinda bad and not nearly as trashy as Riverdale but it isn't the worst thing I have seen.

This is my review of my favorite show ever Riverdale:
Is it Actually the best show ever made:No,It's not
But it is my favorite 109%
It has my favorite tv Couple/Characters in Jughead and Betty(BUGHEAD),They are just perfect for each other and they are the reason I love the show so much ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Fp and Alice are my favorite tv parents ever,Especially Fp for that amazing arc he goes through ♥️
😡(Barchie supporters are my least favorite kind of people 🤮)😡Cheryl Blossom is another one of my favorite tv characters,She is just an entity and she is just so gosh dang despicable 😈♨️
Veronica lodge is also amazing and I think she is the only reason I can Bear…

I hate all of them! Jughead is a psychoanalyst which is funny but he never wears the hat which is unforgivable! Don't try to make me care about "small business owners" in the year 2020!

When I was eight years old, I came home from the last day of school to a living room full of Archie comics. My mom claimed she had found them that morning at a garage sale, but I now suspect she had hidden them for a first-day-of-summer surprise. And it was glorious.
For the longest time, I felt Archie and his crew were the most overlooked licensing opportunity around. No one did anything with them for decades, aside from a few animated outings and this made-for-tv pilot movie.
Let's get it out of the way — Jughead and his son sing a rap version of "Sugar, Sugar," and it might be the cringiest thing I've ever experienced.
But the casting…

Jughead (in his 40s?) does a sexually suggestive rap in front of what has to be like 10 year olds. 5 stars

I did not watch this.
But I have, honest to god watched seasons 3-4 of riverdale in like 2 weeks, and am watching season 5 right now with friends.
It is the worst show I've maybe ever seen, and I genuinely really enjoy watching it and making fun of it. I like it a lot, it's truly unlike anything else on television and I kind of hope it just continues on forever. It's deeply stupid, strangely earnest, unforgivable in certain moments, and truly there are no fucks given about like almost any aspect of the show… but the result is an incredibly loopy thrill ride that consistently shocks you at how daffy and ridiculous things can get. Season one of…

I have never seen this movie but I just need somewhere to write my thoughts about Riverdale because it is literally the best fucking thing I've ever seen nobody gets it. Everyone goes "oh watch this" "oh watch that" but the minute I so much as utter the word River everybody shuts Me Down!!! No one will even give a chance to my girl Veronica, my boy Archie, why do you hate fun? Why do you hate joy? This show is better than any sex i will ever have nothing can rival the high I felt watching Edgar Evernever (cult 1/2 leader) try to take off in his America theme rocket ship and jumpsuit before getting shot down by Bettys…

Very strange but I kind of liked it? The show Riverdale is awful but great all at the same time, like its endlessly rewatchable while also being absolutely ridiculous. But I still love it despite itself. The Sugar Sugar rap scene is..... Yikes is all I'm gonna say. Lauren Holly was the perfect choice for Betty, because it's the best example of why Betty or Veronica shouldn't be a debate..
It's Betty 100%.This was a fun movie that felt unnecessary but I've seen worse.
